Karl Mason : Grade 6

Wildcats skipper Karl Mason returns for his second season seven years after debuting for Derbyshire outfit; Buxton. In 2002, the twenty-two-year-old moved to Newport, where he now lives, where he has ridden on and off since. 2003 saw him sample life in the Premier league at Exeter. One year on and he changed alliances to the Coventry Cougars. His seven year career to date has seen him ride for Great Britain at under-21 level three times including one cap as captain. He sees this season as possibly a last chance to become a fully fledged Premier league rider so look out for Karl this season!
