Joy Herne : Grade 7

24-year-old Poole asset, Jay Herne, son of Phil, lines up for his first full season in the Wildcats colours. The laid back Sydney-sider spent most of last year here at the Wessex taking the Conference league by storm, starting with an incredible seven-ride maximum in his first league outing against rivals Plymouth. He coupled his great season with working with Poole legend Craig Boyce, cleaning his bikes! Jay hopes to follow in the footsteps of his father and brother Lee who rode for Premier league Newport and Arena Essex earlier in the millennium.
