WEYMOUTH Wildcats are continuing to build for the 2007 Conference League with the addition of Poundbury-based speedway promotion and marketing company Influx Marketing.

Commercial director Robin Spicer said: “We are delighted to have Influx Marketing on board. They have a proven track record in speedway circles. Influx has seen an increase in sponsorship at every track that has engaged their services and have a forward thinking and innovative marketing team.”

Influx work with speedway teams in Somerset, Swindon and Exeter and Spicer believes their specialist knowledge can help promote the Wildcats. Influx’s Paul Oughton added: “Weymouth is a popular holiday destination and offers a great deal of potential with the speedway season running in conjunction the holiday season. We, as a company, have considerable local links to the tourist market and will be hoping to promote Weymouth Speedway as one of the major tourist attractions in the town.”
