Weymouth Wildcats supporters were last
night introduced to the complete 2007
line-up at a fans forum held at the
Kingswood Hotel, Weymouth. Along with
the previously announced quartet of
Wildcats team captain David Mason, George
Piper, Terry Day and Nathan Irwin, club
Chairman Phil Bartlett completed the
signing of the 2006 Newport captain
Karl Mason, team mate Sam Hurst and
ex-Wildcat Lee Smart.

Weymouth Wildcats kick-off their 2007
Conference League campaign in less than
three months and have further bolstered
the team by securing the services of
ex-Wildcat reserve - Nathan Irwin.
Twenty three year old Nathan was in
the original line-up when the Wildcats
returned to the track after a 20 year
absence in 2003. He began 2004 with
the Wildcats before finishing the season
with the Swindon Sprockets where he
was awarded Rider of the Year.

sponsor for 2007. Harold Doonan (Building
Materials) Ltd sponsored the Wildcats
last year and will continue as main
team sponsors for the forthcoming season.
The team will be known as the Weymouth
Doonan Wildcats and are delighted to
be maintaining their association with
the local building material suppliers.
