Weymouth Doonan Wildcats’ latest. signings, Kyle Newman and Brendan Johnson, have revealed their delight at joining the Radipole Lane ranks for 2008. The teenagers were unveiled at last week’s fans’ forum and are both looking forward to bright futures in speedway.

Cats Secure - 14/12/07

WEYMOUTH Doonan Wildcats have been handed a four-year deal to secure speedway at the Wessex Stadium until 2012. The announcement was made at last night's Fans' Forum where the Wildcats also unveiled two new signings for the forthcoming 2008 season. Highly rated 15-year-olds Brendan Johnson and Kyle Newman penned deals with the Radipole Lane outfit to the delight of chairman Phil Bartlett, who was also elated after securing the long-term future of the club.

Wildcats Look Forward To 2008 - 13/12/07

Weymouth speedway held a fans forum on Thursday evening at Weymouth Football Club, to introduce some exciting initiatives for the forthcoming season. Club Chairman, Phil Bartlett welcomed the supporters and thanked the fans for attending before going on to inform them on future developments at the club. First on the agenda was the fantastic news that a new four year lease for the circuit had been agreed with the landlords – Weymouth Football Club. Bartlett was quick to offer his thanks to Chairman Malcolm Curtis and Chief Executive Gary Calder for their foresight in seeing the role the Wildcats have with the community.

'Exciting Times' Ahead For Cats - 12/12/07

Weymouth Doonan Wildcats chairman Phil Bartlett believes "exciting times" lie ahead of the Conference League side. Over the past few years the Wildcats have been on a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs but Bartlett is planning to announce major plans this week that he feels will bring much-needed stability to the club. The former Plymouth Devils team manager will speak at a Fans' Forum at the Wessex Stadium tomorrow night (7.30pm) where he is hoping for a packed house.

Wildcats 2008: Fans Forum - 06/12/07

A Fans Forum to outline the future plans of Weymouth Speedway is to be held on Thursday 13th December at 7.30pm in Weymouth Football Club. Club Chairman Phil Bartlett urges all Weymouth speedway fans to attend the meeting since a press statement will be released regarding the future of the club.
